MORE FINLEY RIVER CHIEF HISTORY
I have had many email me and ask questions about Finley River Chief and the Finley River Strain. I thought it might be interesting to put up a thread on the history of Finley River Chief through his reproducing.
Many new to the sport may not realize the impact Chief had on the breed and how many of the top hounds of today have him in their pedigree numerous times if only you went back far enough.
I hope the fans of this strain enjoy the thread.
I put this thread up on the UKC Boards but since at times some of the moderators on that board have a quick delete finger I have decided to also put it up on this board where it won't be deleted.

Thank you History Nutt. The ad you have of sport , has my dads hunting buddys knob creek lead female listed. She was a good hound, cold nosed honest, just not many holes. The cross of her and sport, I owned two males both made outstanding hounds, the one was killed on the highway and the other, i sold back to Monroe and who knows where he ended up. Good hounds.
