Some times we all are looking for those big name dogs to breed back on but there's no semen to be had. BUT, what about those no name dogs out of big name parents. Pleasure hunters collect semen also.I's there any bark bustin bush semen left? Can we come up with anything. It might suprise us all if we new what might be out there.

Re: Is there any semen from no name dogs with big name parents(finley river, lone pine, etc.)
Good question Jason,
I know there are a few grandsons of Spring Creek Rock that have semen drawn on them. I believe I seen some pups off of Deamon semen not to long ago. Rock was drawn some and that would have been before his death in early 82 I believe. I have also heard of some other hounds that were drawn in the early 80's but haven't been able to confirm some of what I heard.

Like them old dog's
I would imagin the spring creek rock semen is pretty expensive? I just hope all the fella's holding on to any of the old semen get to see it used or use it them selves.Thats why we all collect our dogs to keep that old blood alive.( I thought,I could be wrong.)We sure could use some of that old stuff in all of our pedigree's.Track driving tree dogs. Thanks for all your reply's.Good luck hunting.

Stamper Semen Red Eagle
In the morning my female from Red Eagle Mack and Rock River Patches will be bred with Stampers Red Eagle Semen, Eagle was out of Red Eagle Dick and a female who was out of Beaver lake lighting. Finly River Dan will be the 3rd dog back with Ole Finley River Chief the 4th dog. I think I'm as excited as Tom was with his Litter of impact from Lipper. I am thankful to every person who has been involved with this strain of walkers, Thank you for your hard work and dedication to this bloodline, many of us reap from your labors and I am truly thankful.Johnny

Dolly
Dolly was bred Friday April the 13th
Motility of the semen was not as good as the vet had hoped, he wanted it to be around 50 to 55% but was in the 30 to 35% range, the date on the semen was marked feb. 16th 1993, to say im nervous is a under statement but the dice have been rolled and we'll see what turns up.

Ultrasound confirmed today that Dolly is gonna have pups , dont know how many yet but we could see at least 3 and maybe more, still to early for a head count with today being just the 34th day bred, needless to say I feel better now knowing she took.

Sorry for your loss Johnny. That has to be a hard one to take. The bright spot is that you have straws to try again and that they are good enough to get you pups. The way these pups would have been bred would be an exciting cross for us who love this breed and strain. I wish for you the best of luck the next time you try making a little history and please keep us informed here. Any way I can be of help or assistance please let me know. Don
