SINCE HERB HUNTED ON THE FINLEY RIVER A LOT THAT IS WHAT HE NAMED A LOT OF HIS HOUNDS. ONCE FINLEY RIVER CHIEF HIT THE SCENE THAT CHANGED AND A STRAIN BECAME THE FINLEY RIVER STRAIN.
