logans wild clover is a grandson of finley river dan , and dan is the sire of world ch gr nt ch red eagle dick. i am hoping these pups have even more of the finley river traits that made old school coon dogs real dogs.i try to breed for a certain type of hound, track burnin accurate tree dogs.suzy shows the same traits mack and his red eagle family of dogs show, the nose,drive, independants,brains to learn track sense that makes them accurate tree dogs.and the stay put,loud mouth take the pressure finley river style dogs i have had for 36yrs.the first real coondogs i owned were finley river bred hounds, i plan on my last ones being bred with the same gene traits and type.another of chiefs sons was whelped 1 mile from my house, chief was bred to lenewee queen belonging to Riley Feltman, the cross produced 1970 acha world ch gr nt ch ganns finisher. i was 12 yrs old when he won the world hunt.the finley river dogs impressed me at a young age and i still believe them to be the top of the line old school type coondogs. yes suzy had 7 pups on april 29th. i also bred mack to a nice female (diamond) that is a direct daughter of hard knock'n stylish hayes on top and grand daughter to nailor on the bottom.bred her the 20th of april.she is the same type dog, decent nose,track sense and accurate tree dog.if you miss the cut on suzys, i may be able to get you one off diamond from her owner, she is in indiana.just like mack being one of the few sackett jr sons still throwing pups, diamond is one of the few direct daughters of old hayes around.i am getting a female for myself off her.
