GRAND NITE CH. MEAR'S FINLEY RIVER DAN



A great producer in his own right. Many say he is the best reproducing son of Finley River Chief. Dan was also a coon dog. He placed 6th in the 1970 ACHA World Hunt. The hunt that was won by his half brother, Gann's Finisher.

NITE CHAMPION FINLEY RIVER CHIEF



The beginning of the strain called Finley River.



Chief was named Finley River Chief by Herb Carsten because of a river near Springfield, Missouri Herb hunted on Finley River.



The combination of Shertler's Sonny Boy and Bixler's Supreme Sally produced the father of the Finley River Strain. When these two great hounds were mated history was made and that history was Finley River Chief.
